    Basic molecular biology techniques (RNA and DNA extraction), molecular cloning, hybridizations with radioactivity-labelled probes (Southern and Northern blots), Western blot, over expression and purification of proteins, immunoprecipitation, viral infections, agro-inoculation, construction of transgenic Arabidopsis plants, preparation of microarray samples and analysis of the results, quantitative real-time PCR, real-time PCR, in vitro culture of Arabidopsis seedlings, hormone treatment, Microscopy and microbiology techniques. Handling pathogenic bacterial strains. Analysing and interpreting data (e.g. gene expression, transposon, retrotransposon elements and their expression). Antibiotic analysis and fatty acid profiling from a different matrix. Pathogen bacteria isolated from food and GIT (confirmation tests).
