Twinning Open Data Operational - TODO
The project operationally started on October 1, 2019. The goal of the TODO project is to develop interdisciplinary scientific excellence and innovation potential for the University of Zagreb in the field of open data, in order to stimulate the supply and use of free public data in Croatia and the region. The project lasts until October 2023, and the total budget of the TODO project is € 799,988.00.
The TODO project coordinator is the University of Zagreb Faculty of Geodesy, and other partners from the University of Zagreb are: Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Faculty of Organization and Informatics, Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Transport Sciences, while the Delft Technical University (Netherlands) and the Aegean University (Greece) are external partners who have shown excellence in the open data domain so far.
The project leader on the Faculty of Agriculture, is Assist. Prof. Dragica Šalamon, PhD, scientifically active in the field of General Animal Husbandry. The activities of the Faculty of Agriculture in the TODO project include, among other things, identifying issues related to the need and supply of open public, professional and research data in the biotechnology and natural sciences within the sectors of agriculture, environment and nature. Through case studies that interdisciplinary involve specific sectoral needs, as well as legal, operational, technical and legislative options, our aim is to provide examples of good practice for the region as well as address identified sectoral issues through cooperation in existing international networks.
