On February 1, 2005 FAZ was visited by the delegation of the CIHEAM led by its President Mouin Hamzé and Secretary General Bertrand Hervieu. In June 2004, Croatia applied for membership. The negotiations started, and it is only matter of time when Croatia's membership will be formally accepted. Mr Hamzé stressed at the meeting that Croatia can participate as a full member in all programs.
