Arrival in Zagreb

By plane

Once you have reached "Pleso", the Zagreb airport, take a Croatia Airlines bus that will drop you off at the Central Bus Station (Autobusni kolodvor). From there you can take trams to your destination. Airport bus costs 30 kn and departs daily every half-hour, the first one leaving at 05:00, the last at 20:00 hrs. You can also catch a taxi in front of the international arrivals but the bus is much cheaper.

Changing currency:

There is an ATM outside international arrivals, the Zagrebačka banka office (open 07:00-21:00) and an exchange in the post office (open 07:00-21:00) in the centre of the airport.

Once you are at the Central Railway Station (Glavni kolodvor), you are actually in the heart of Zagreb, only a 10-minutes-walk from the main city square (Trg bana Jelačića). Tram No. 6 or 13 will also take you there.

Changing currency

A currency exchange and ATM (open 24 hrs) are in the international ticketing area.
