The Landscape Architecture is two years course, which enables graduates to gain a professionally accredited vocational degree. The curriculum aims to integrate both academic and professional values and standards specific to the profession of landscape architecture. Graduates must demonstrate an understanding of the conceptual, moral and philosophical issues, which underpin our professional uses, and manipulation of the landscape, combined with an ability to make realistic, sustainable and creative design proposals that reflect these.
The aim of the graduate programme is to teach candidates to plan and design more demanding tasks in landscape architecture, within towns and the countryside, for identification of cultural and ecological features of the landscape. They are also expected to participate in preparation of large-scale planning documents (comprehensive, regional, urban, rural and landscape plans). Depending on the elected modules, a Master's degree holder can be prepared for scientific advancement in postgraduate studies and is capable of team and individual work, as well as professional communication. |
