This Privacy Policy explains how the University of Zagreb Faculty of Agriculture, Svetošimunska cesta 25, PIN: 76023745044 (hereinafter: Faculty of Agriculture) collects, uses and manages personal data found on its website and available to the Faculty of Agriculture by using the website: www.agr.unizg.hr.

The Faculty of Agriculture is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. Please read this Privacy Policy thoroughly in order to understand why and how we collect your personal data and how they will be used. Regarding the personal data that we collect, the Faculty of Agriculture is the "data controller" and it determines the purposes for which and the means by which personal data is processed.

Collecting and Processing of Personal Data:

On the website www.agr.unizg.hr, depending on the user's activities, the Faculty of Agriculture may collect personal data of users such as: first name, last name, gender, e-mail address or other contact, place of work and IP address.

The Faculty of Agriculture transparently collects and processes data only to the extent necessary for complying with legal obligations, or for the needs of legitimate interests, or if necessary for the exercise of official authority of the Faculty of Agriculture pursuant to legal regulations, or if such processing is necessary for the execution of contracts or on the basis of your consent.

Data, in a form that enables identification, is kept only as long as it is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data is processed.

Personal data can be stored for longer periods prescribed by the law or regulation that obliges the Faculty of Agriculture to store data, or in the case that personal data will be processed exclusively for archiving purposes in the public interest, for the purposes of scientific or historical research or for statistical purposes in accordance with Article 89, paragraph 1 of the General Regulation on Personal Data Protection and is subject to the implementation of appropriate technical and organizational safeguard measures.

If you have given us your consent, we will process your personal data until you withdraw your consent. If you object to the processing of personal data on grounds of the legitimate interest, your personal data will not be processed in the future.

The following persons may have access to personal data collected by the Faculty of Agriculture in the performance of their duties: legal entities participating in implementing legal relations with users such as IT support and other companies related to the Faculty of Agriculture, public authorities demanding the submission of personal data in accordance with regulations that the Faculty of Agriculture is subject to, and about which the Faculty of Agriculture keeps prescribed records on processing activities.

The Faculty of Agriculture does not consciously collect personal data from children under the age of 16 without the appropriate consent of a parent or legal guardian. If you are under the age of 16, please do not send us any personal information, including your name and email address, without the consent of your parent or guardian.

In case we discover that we have collected personal data from a person under the age of 16 without adequate parental or guardian consent, we will delete that data as soon as possible. If you suspect that we have collected personal data from a minor without proper consent, please let us know by e-mail of the Personal Data Protection Officer and we will immediately take the necessary measures.
