Experimental station National Collection of Domesticated Olive Varieties of Croatia

From the very beginning of the collection, students of the University of Zagreb Faculty of Agriculture have been conducting the practical part of the classes in undergraduate, graduate and doctoral study programs. In addition to horticulture students, other study programs of the faculty also express the need for professional practice, and so far, several diploma and final theses have been defended.

A large number of student professional projects were completed, and some students completed part or all of their student internship. Since the trees of the olive varieties planted in the collection have just come into fruition, far more intensive teaching, professional and scientific work is expected in the future.
