The Foundation of the Faculty of Agriculture (ZAF) began its work in 2009 to encourage excellence in studies, and innovative and creative work. Once a year, the Foundation awards grants, awards and scholarships to the best full-time undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate (doctoral) students of the Faculty of Agriculture. Students who are are granted with support have achieved above-average results with their work, i.e. they show inclinations towards scientific work, which they have participated in carrying out together with the Faculty teachers. The funds of the Foundation are collected exclusively on the basis of monetary payments from donors and benefactors, and the allocation of funds to students is decided by the members of the Expert Committee, which consists of prominent scientists and entrepreneurs in agriculture.
