The Sports Association of the University of Zagreb Faculty of Agriculture (SUAF) andteachers from the Faculty's Department of Physical Education conduct extra curricular kinesiological activities for students and employees of the Faculty in accordance with the Croatian Sports Act. The Faculty has adopted the Board of Rectors Regulation on Special Conditions for the Study of Student Athletes at universities of the Republic of Croatia (2017), which enables categorised athletes and athletes who are members of Faculty teams to adapt academically and lead a successful dual career in sports. Table tennis and recreational sports programmes in adapted Faculty spaces are the favourite activities of Faculty employees.
At the university level, the Faculty teams successfully compete with the teams of the Faculty of Kinesiology in futsal, handball and basketball in the category of female and male students, with quality and heart on the field, which contributes to the success and recognition of our teams and individuals (in chess, table tennis) in the so-called "Agronomijada" (meeting of agricultural students). If one stops for a moment in front of the showcases full of trophies, medals and certificates of recognition, we will proudly remember the students, some of whom are now professors at the Faculty, who, in addition to their studies and training, participated in university sports competitions and achieved results that were among the ten best faculties at the University of Zagreb in the overall results of each academic year.
