Virtual Course on Student Inclusion
The project team from the University of Padua (Italy), Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa (Turkey), Ștefan cel Mare University of Suceava (Romania), International European University (Ukraine), Igor Vitale International srl (Italy) and University of Zagreb Faculty of Agriculture, continues its activities within an international project aimed at promoting the inclusion, well-being, and success of Ukrainian students in higher education – UkraStud.
The next important step in the project’s implementation is the launch of the “Online Course for Tutors of Ukrainian Students”, which will soon be available on the project’s e-learning platform.
The course is primarily designed for tutors of Ukrainian students, as well as academic staff interested in developing competencies in inclusion, communication, and student well-being support.
The online course is based on the results of research and the model developed within the project, as well as on a review of the most recent scientific literature. It consists of six modules with video lessons, available in multiple languages – English, Italian, Ukrainian, Turkish, Romanian, and Croatian.
The lessons are structured to encourage active participant engagement through short interactive exercises, reflection questions, real-life case scenarios, and knowledge tests at the end of each module. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a certificate of participation, and the course content will serve as the foundation for developing a micro-credential on “Inclusion of Ukrainian Students in Higher Education.”
During the pilot phase, tutors and academic staff members from partner institutions will take part in testing and evaluating the course content to support its optimization.
The University of Zagreb Faculty of Agriculture is proud to contribute to this project, which promotes inclusiveness, mutual understanding, and support within the academic community.
