Journal of Central European Agriculture (JCEA) is an international online and multilingual scientific journal that publishes original scientific articles, review articles, preliminary communications, short scientific reports and papers from scientific conferences in the field of agricultural and related sciences.

The journal was founded in 1999 as a result of an initiative by the faculties of the transition countries of Central Europe to exchange solutions and problems encountered in agriculture.
Today, JCEA is an internationally recognized scientific journal that is regularly published in collaboration with scientific and higher education institutions from nine Central European countries. The international editorial board of the journal consists of representatives of national editorial boards from nine member countries: Croatia, Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovenia, Serbia, Bulgaria and Romania with equal rights and obligations.

Papers published in JCEA are regularly indexed in a number of index databases including the Web of Science Core Collection, SCOPUS, CAB Abstracts, Zoological Record (Clarivate Analytics), Agricola, and others.
Papers are published quarterly, where the publication of papers is free of charge, and access to papers is free: http://jcea.agr.hr
