Course description

The objective of this course is to familiarize students with global trends as well as with trends in Croatian recent landscape design projects and realizations. Students will evolve their knowledge on contemporary landscape design through detailed and comprehensive analysis of projects, realizations and theoretical papers.

Description

Submitt and present seminar work and landscape design projects analysis.

General competencies

The aim is to teach and qualify students for: rational analytical approach towards landscape design projects and realizations; critical thinking and review of theoretical works and a relation between theory and practice in contemporary landscape architecture.

    Lectures on the thematic units planned by the curriculum.

    Visit to domestic or foreign recent landscape design realizations.
  • Seminars
    Presentations and critical reflections on contemporary landscape design projects. Submit in writing.
  • Design exercises
    Analysis of contemporary landscape design projects. Submit in writing.
