Employment and work experience
- 1996 - : University of Zagreb Faculty of Agriculture
Research work focuses on sustainable cropping systems and alternative practices for staple crops of Croatia (winter wheat and corn). This applied research is quickly transferred to Croatian farmers. Educational work involves teaching and training of undergraduate and postgraduate students on courses “Production of field crops” and “Cereals” as well as supervision of student research projects and examination of post-graduate research theses for the degrees of MS and PhD.
Previous Professional Experience:
Associate Professor of Agronomy, University of Zagreb Faculty of Agriculture
50% Research/50% Teaching; January 2009 through December 2014
Assistant Professor of Agronomy, University of Zagreb Faculty of Agriculture
50% Research/50% Teaching; February 2005 through December 2008
Senior Lecturer and Research Associate, University of Zagreb Faculty of Agriculture
April 2003 through January 2005
Lecturer and Research Assistant, University of Zagreb Faculty of Agriculture
February 1996 through March 2003
Advisory Work:
• sharing of research results at field days tours, extension meetings and through farmers training,
• over 100 professional papers written for crops managers and farmers in Croatia.
