Nositelj predmeta
Opis predmeta
Students will learn the theoretical foundations of spectroscopic analytical methods, get to know the basic parts of optical instruments used for work in the ultraviolet and visible part of the spectrum (spectrometers); methods based on flame atomization: atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS), and atomic emission spectroscopy (AES); theoretical foundations of gas (GC) and gas-liquid chromatography (HPLC), with applications for separation and quantitative determination of complex systems.
Laboratory exercises include quantitative analysis of prepared samples using the above methods and calculation of analysis results with assessment of their reliability.
The aim of the course is to acquire theoretical and basic practical knowledge and skills in the analysis of fruit, wine and generally agricultural products using spectroscopic analytical methods and gas and liquid chromatography methods.
